December 10, 2018 Succes was the leading word for Hullcrest Holsteins during the 29th edition of the HHH-Show last weekend in Zwolle. They participated with 4 heifers at the Young Breeders competition, where 3 won their class. Two of them made it into the finals which ended very successfully with Chapehill Solomon Prosecco crowned to Junior Champion of the HHH-Show 2018! She is a Solomon daughter tracing back to the one and only: Windy-Knoll-View Pledge EX-95-USA - the 1st 5yr. Old WDE '07 & Unanimous All-American 5yr. Old '07. The other heifer which made it into the finals was Jildau again a Solomon daughter tracing back to Bons-Holsteins Dikkie 145 EX-92-NL, the Intermediate Champion Hoornaar 2008. Also BEL Scissor Brenda won her class in the Young Breeders Competition, she was already succesfull at the Swiss Expo this year and traces back tot the Grand Champion of Italy '03 and '04: BEL Mtoto Diana EX-93-IT. December 10, 2018 The Ijsehallen in Zwolle were this weekend the entrance for the 29th edition of the HHH-Show. The quality of the cattle and ambience was again fantastic! Grand Champion became the famous Lauthority daughter: Bons-Holsteins Koba 219. Recently she was half sold to Westcoast Holsteins and showed again her strength at the strong competion. December 7, 2018 It's was a great classification this week for Broeklander Holsteins. The 10 fresh 2yr. Olds they showed, were scoring an average of VG-85-NL 2yr.! The highlights at this classification were Zandenburg Penley Ebony 1 who scored VG-87-NL 2yr. with a VG-87-MS and Jardin Maebel 3 with VG-87-NL 2yr. and a VG-87-MS. Zandenburg Penley Ebony 1 comes from the succesfull Zandenburg Twist Ebony EX-90-NL family, a family which made his mark in various systems! Also three daughters of Roccafarm Beacon Chrissy were scored. Her Penley daughter Crispen scored VG-86-NL 2yr., her Blossem daugther Blos Anna scored VG-85-NL 2yr. and another daughter fresh in her 2nd lactation scored VG-86-NL 3yr. with VG-87-MS. December 5, 2018 Today the new indexes in Holland came out. The new #1 daughter proven sire in Holland is Cogent Supershot (s. Supersire) bred by De Volmer Holsteins & Diamond Genetics. He notes +311 gNVI with 233 daughters in production. The second and NEW sire in the top is S-S-I Mogul Reflector with +307 gNVI and 60 daughters. December 4, 2018 This afternoon was the December index run in the States. The genomic list with sires >12 months and a NAAB-code is still leading by Pine-Tree Legacy with +2949 GTPI. The second position is again for Mr Dynasty Nashville who notes +2944 GTPI. Increasing in the list is S-S-I Bg Frzzld Riveting with +2933 GTPI, which is good enough for the third place. The fourth place is token by Hurtgenlea Richard Charl with +2920 GTPI. NEW in the top 5 is Ocd Pinnacle Diesel, who notes +2919 GTPI.
At the daughter proven list are not big chances. EDG Rubicon is still leading the list with +2824 GTPI followed by Mr Mccut Dante with +2800 GTPI.
