Indexday! New leaders in the Swiss index!

Today, it's INDEX DAY! We start today with the first indexes coming in from Switzerland! As every year, the sliding basis is adjusted in the April breeding value estimate. The average breeding values of Holstein cows born between 2017 and 2019 are set to zero. A new leader in the Swiss chart is Casting son Sous-Moron Boston at +1677 ISET in combination with +117 ITP. In second follows the former Nr. 1 ISET genomic sire: TGD-Holstein Beautyman at +1601 ISET. At the third spot we find Cookiecutter Hadley at +1600 ISET. Leading the Domestic daughter proven ranking is for the 6th time in a row Vogue Letsgo, an Applicable son at +1460 ISET. A great and solide run for NH DG Arrow at the 21th spot with +1357 ISET and remarkable is that he is the Nr. 1 ITP (type) bull in this ranking with Domestic daughter proven sires at +129 ITP! NH DG Arrow delivered last weekend the Udder Champion at the Expo Bulle 2025 in Switzerland!
