April 7, 2020 We start today with the new indexes coming in from Germany! The new leader in the German RZG system is Hurtgenlea Richard Charl son: CAPTAIN at +169 RZG! He is followed by Benz son BEST BENZ at the second postion at +165 RZG. Making the stage complete is Gendry with +163 RZG at place three. New released Rio son Gen RAVE came in as the shared #4 RZG sire in the Interbull genomic list at +161 RZG. Furthermore Hul-Stein CROWNMAX @ Masterrind shares the 8th postion with still +160 RZG. The #1 daughter proven B&W RZG sire is the #1 GTPI dtr proven sire: HELIX (s. Silver) at +161 RZG. Topping the R&W interbull genomic list is Grando-Red an early Gywer *RC son at +165 RZG. April 6, 2020 In the March edition of the monthly breeders magazine Holstein International is a very interesting & great article written about GAEC Toullec. JB Toullec Yorick Roxy is one of the great show cows at Toullec from this family also comes the bull OTTO JBT @ ASCOL. He is the only bull in the breed with >4.35 PTAT and >900 Milk! GAEC Toullec is one of the members of La Brasserie Holstein which has been founded in 2014. April 6, 2020 The pictures of the Junior Champions of Hullcrest Holsteins at the Wintershow Pesse, held early last month came back. Grand Champion of the Junior Show & Champion Calves was Bel Crushtime Deejay a Crushtime grand daughter from one of the most admired Italian show cows: Du Bon Vent Inkapi EX-95-IT. Inkapi was represented at the Swiss Expo this year were she was second in the Senior cow class. Also Deejay was very successful at this years Swiss Expo with a second place in the second youngest class. Her herdmate Bel Doorman China was crowned as the Heifer Champion of the Wintershow in Pesse. She was 1st at Swiss Expo and came back for the final 6 at Junior Champion. This tremendous Doorman heifer was also Reserve Junior Champion - Saluzzo Regional Show 2019 & 1st at the National Show in Cremona 2019. She is backed by the Maliarda VG-88 cow family. April 6, 2020 We just received some great new pictures of the show and production toppers at Retraitehoeve Holsteins. These cows were all home-bred and guarantee for huge productions in their pedigrees. The Eugenio sister to HERO (+2620 GTPI) @ AI-Total was successful shown at the Asten-Heusden Show a couple weeks ago and looks very promising with averageing 40kgM/day!! This super branch of the Comestar Laurie Sheik family brought also the heavily used bulls: Stormatic, Outside, Lee, Lheros, Lauthority & many others. Furthermore was the dam to Delta Nectar P-Red (#3 R&W NVI sire in the breed at +381 NVI) @ CRV pictured at Barendonk Holsteins. This Laurent *RC daughter: Retraitehoeve Delta Nice is from a VG-86-NL 3yr. Supershot x Twist P followed by the former #1 NVI cow in the Netherlands: Apina Nadja EX-90-NL. Third cow which was also successful shown at the Asten-Heusden Show was another Eugenio daughter: Retraitehoeve Mina 240. This VG-87 2-Yr Old is from a VG-86-NL 2yr. The Reserve Senior Champion of the Holstein show: Anta recently increased her score to EX-90-NL with EX-91-MS for Veenhuizer Holsteins. Her herdmate Veenhuizer KG Nela was the Res. 2-Yr Old & Udder Champion of the show and scored VG-88-NL La1. with the MAX-score for her udder: VG-89!! Furthermore the Reserve Calf Champion (between B&W's) Twente Dairies D.Back Melanie Red was pictured, she traces back to the Karona Allen Winter EX-94-CAN 2E family and is owned by Bosma Holsteins. Her herdmate Twente Dairies José was 2nd in the 2-Yr Old class & H.M. Best Red of the show.
